Victoria Bryan bio:

Originally from London, I have lived in Long Beach since 1985. Between 2014 - 2016, I was the executive director of the Arts Council for Long Beach, and since 2006, I have taught at California State University, Long Beach (Art Department, Theatre Department, and School of Education). From 1978 to 2001, I co-founded and co-directed STOP-GAP Theatre, providing a network of educational and therapeutic theatre programs throughout Southern California.  My PhD research, at The Drucker School of Management, investigated the relationship between theatres and their audiences. Currently, I’m the co-founder of east village caravanserai (with Sherry Diamond), through which we curate and present dynamic, relevant theatre-based performance fostering dialogue and community eastvillagecaravanserai.org

  • six years educational television production in Tehran, Iran

  • a year as head of the prop department at the Abbey Theatre, Dublin.
